Folks, it took six months of editing and a couple of miscues along the way; however, Compartment Challenger Deep went live on Amazon a few days ago. If you know anybody in the media business, I think the story would make a heck of a television series or movie. By the way, I have started on The Orion's Talon. If I don't let my loquaciousness get out of control, it should be published by January 2022. The original cast of characters has retired or been killed off; albeit, the storyline will be consistent with the prior volumes.

"Chains of the Cosmic Wanderer: The Asgard Imperative" Going Live

It has been a lot longer slog than I anticipated. After I did two automated scans of the manuscript for spelling and grammar, I thought I was out of the woods. However, when I did a third reading, I realized there were still dozens of errors in the manuscript. Using Adobe Acrobat, I took a PDF version and highlighted every error I could find with notes as to what it was. I then transposed them all back into the base MS Word copy. It was a time intensive process. Bottom line: the ebook and print versions were both accepted by Amazon today.  Should be live tomorrow.

Bending the Curve: An American Healthcare Imperative Audiobook Sample

Below is a link to the ACX audio book production site. When you click on it, the audio .mp3 file for the Prologue of the book is downloaded. You will have to click on the download to activate whatever software you use to play .mp3s on your device.

I also noticed that the dedicated Blogger app on my phone required that I click the button to open the web version  to access the link. Once I did that, the download was as expected.

Errata for Bending the Curve

Being somewhat compulsive, I can never wait for a well-proofed version of my work. No matter how many re-reads I do, I always end up putting up stuff full of typos. My audio guy (yes I actually have an audio guy) sent me a summary of errors he spotted while narrating. Corrected manuscripts went to Amazon today. It still may not be perfect; however it certainly is a lot better.
